01 / A journey in two directions
The vision brings ancient wisdom into conversation with global exploration. WeMaNa brings together the ideas of flight, curiosity and an open mind—connecting the places we explore with the perspectives we bring home.
Experience another learning culture. Ask how its ideas, environments and everyday practices differ from your own.
Discuss what you notice with fellow travellers. Examine the context behind a practice before deciding what it might mean at home.
Return with questions, connections and practical ideas to explore—not a ready-made system to copy.
02 / The world is our classroom
South Korea was a beginning, not a boundary. WeMaNa’s vision extends across the globe: purposeful journeys that connect people with the ideas, discoveries and educational practices shaping our changing world. Destinations and programmes will be developed around each group’s learning interests.
Explore how different systems approach classrooms, curriculum, teacher development and student participation.
Examine new approaches to learning, school leadership and educational technology—and consider their relevance at home.
Explore advances in science, AI, robotics and technology, building a wider understanding of the world around us.
Discover local traditions, everyday life and ways of communicating. Meet people, explore languages and build understanding across cultures.
03 / Different travellers. Shared curiosity.
Not every group needs the same journey. WeMaNa’s tours will be shaped around the participants, their questions and the experiences most relevant to them.
Explore school systems, leadership practices and approaches to change. Return with ideas to examine with your own team.
Discover teaching methods, learning environments and educational tools. Reflect on what could enrich your classroom.
Connect classroom ideas with science, technology and cultures beyond home. Student programmes will require age-appropriate activities, supervision and safeguarding arrangements.
Understand how children learn in different settings and how education is evolving. Gain perspective for conversations about your child’s learning journey.
04 / One destination. The first chapter — 2023
NanoSkool’s maiden Learning Mission to South Korea brought Indian education leaders together to explore AI and STEAM in education, teaching and learning practices, and new possibilities for the classroom.
The accompanying mission report documents the visit through photographs and a summary of the experience. It is a record of the 2023 journey, not the itinerary for a future trip.
